National Institute of Informatics NII Shonan Meeting site renewal
We changed the NII Shonan Meeting website's CMS and renovated the entire site. From a design perspective, we transferred the color scheme of the logo design into the new site, producing a brighter and more intelligent look. With the text being the focus of the site, we used text size and spacing which would allow for heightened readability.
We significantly adjusted page structure and made the necessary contents more accessible by simplifying the structure of the menu. Also, by making it smartphone-compatible with responsive design, we were able to reform the website into one which can be viewed on a wider array of devices.
For the CMS, we employed Movable Type 7. The block editor function made it possible to edit the main contents—seminar information—even easier than before and in a unified style.

What is the NII Shonan Meeting?
The NII Shonan Meeting is the first multiple day Dagstuhl-style seminar held in Asia to solve difficult problems in informatics. The website is aimed at international, top-level researchers and encourages them to participate in new seminars while also releasing the records of previously held seminars.
